# Connect Apploi

> Connect your Apploi applicant tracking system to ask about recruiting and hiring.

Connecting **Apploi** brings your applicant tracking (ATS) data into HomecareHQ so you can ask
about your recruiting pipeline and build hiring dashboards — applicants by status, pipeline
funnel, hires by job title, applicant-to-hire ratio, and time-to-hire.

## What you'll need

## Connect

  <Step title="Request your Apploi API credentials" icon="envelope">
    Apploi credentials can only be issued by Apploi. Email your Apploi support contact or success
    manager using the draft below — be sure to include your **legal entity name**. They'll send
    back two values: your **(Parent) Team ID** and an **API Key**.

    In HomecareHQ, go to **Admin Settings → Integrations**.

  <Step title="Connect Apploi">
    On the **Apploi** card, click **Connect** and enter the **API Key** and **(Parent) Team ID**
    Apploi sent you.

  <Step title="Confirm the sync">
    HomecareHQ pulls your applicants, jobs, and status taxonomy into a working copy. When the
    sync finishes, you're ready to ask.

<Note>
  **Your credentials never touch HomecareHQ's own systems.** When you connect a system, you
  enter its credentials into a secure dialog hosted by our credential vault partner
  (**Nango**), where they are encrypted and stored. HomecareHQ only ever asks the vault to
  fetch data on your behalf — it never sees or stores your password. You can disconnect at any
  time from **Admin Settings → Integrations**.

HomecareHQ also keeps an eye on **status changes** in your pipeline, so the data behind your
recruiting dashboards stays current.
